Hive: Kitchen Staff

Position Details
We are actively hiring individuals seeking employment opportunities to join a fun and fast-paced team at Hive located at 10th and the Bypass. This is an exciting time to join our team and build experience as our businesses have continued to grow and prosper throughout the global pandemic.

Salary & Compensation
This is an hourly position. New team members start at $10 -$11 per hour based on experience and can expect an additional $4 - $5 per hour in tips. All tips collected at Hive are pooled and shared between both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

Job Description
Our kitchen staff work closely as a team with our head chef to prepare and cook all food for Hive. Coordination with our front of house staff is key to providing a timely and excellent customer service experience.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Skills in preparing a variety of foods is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and quality standards is preferred, but not required.
Good listening skills and the ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work both individually and as a team member.
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
