Psychologist

Provides leadership to the residential teams. Provides assessments, collateral contacts, analysis, and summary of treatment options for youth in residential, foster care, and the community. May provide court testimony when needed. As part of the treatment team the psychologist will provide solutions and treatment options for youth in crisis. Serves as the youth and families advocate to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available. Collaborates closely with the Experiential Specialist, the Quality Care Supervisor, and the Family Therapists to promote the social, emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being of youth.

PhD in Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adolescents/children is required. Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Good moral character and emotional stability.
