Content Writer
We are looking for a strong, experienced Content Writer to join our team and deliver impactful, market-driven content to a diverse set of audiences within our portfolio of products. Our ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can connect with our audiences across multiple channels to help build our brand and provide value for potential customers. This position will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofing engaging and effective content for our various businesses including, but not limited to content for blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, web banners, websites, printed materials, and other SEO-related content.

Responsibilities:
• Write/edit/manage engaging, compelling, and effective content across a wide range of digital and traditional platforms
• Create clear, concise, and persuasive content that is consistent with established branding, style guide, and current market trends as well as SEO tactics and techniques
• Create cohesive messaging across integrated marketing campaigns
• Understand and apply content best practices
• Be curious, proactive, and contribute new ideas that improve content and results including finding new ways to tell the story
• Experience writing/managing social media posts and content
• Good understanding of marketing, the customer journey, and storytelling as they apply in both B2C and B2B environments
• Understands the role of content in driving brand engagement, web traffic, lead generation, and sales
• Has demonstrated experience working with marketing automation and advanced analytics platforms
Requirements:
• BA/BS in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising, or related field
• 3-5 years experience working in a content management/copywriter role primarily in B2C environments. Previous experience managing other writers is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in developing best-in-class content including blogs, social media posts, and other content
• Strong understanding of SEO principles relative to content is a must
• Knowledge and experience working with and optimizing content via marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail-oriented with an eye for spelling and grammar errors
• Collaborative team player who understands the role of the Marketing Communications team and works jointly to accomplish the goals of the marketing department in supporting the growth of the company
