Costume Shop Assistant
Costume Shop Assistants work with the costume designer and shop manager in creating costumes for Parkside Theatre productions, as well as help maintain general costume inventory and shop resources.
Reports to: Leslie Vaglica, Costume Shop Manager
Responsibilities include:
- Build, repair, and alter costumes/garments used for Theatre Arts productions;
- Organizing and maintaining the costume shop, craft room, and costume storage areas;
- Assist in patternmaking;
- May involve light lifting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of sewing by hand and machine sewing
