Analyst
North Mill is seeking an analyst to perform monthly reporting, data analysis, and financial modeling for its $500mm+ lease/loan portfolio
Direct responsibilities include:
- Monthly preparation of financial reporting for banks, investors, and stakeholders. Preparation of draws and repayments on bank warehouse lines and securitizations.
- Analysis of lease/loan performance and company financial metrics, including presentation of results to senior management
- Financial modeling for the purposes of internal budgeting and evaluation of prospective and current strategic partnerships
- Perform special projects and duties as requested, including ad-hoc analysis in support of senior management
- Recommendations for improvement of financial reporting and data processes
- Responsible for various projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency
- Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Required skills/qualifications:
- Recent graduates and less than two years of professional experience are encouraged to apply, though internships and/or work experience in financial services is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school. While a degree in business/finance or a related field is not required, applicant must have strong understanding of financial concepts and be able to perform basic financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and deliver results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of strong time management and ability to multi-task
