Associate Business Operations PM

Job Overview

The Associate Business Operations Project Manager is a consultative business partner working with assigned business units to drive the delivery of key operational, process improvement, and systems initiatives across iCIMS. The BOPM will manage functional projects, facilitate the development of business processes, and be a key partner to the business and the PMO. They will create structured project plans, own communication of progress to management, lead small project teams, and drive accountability to ensure comprehensive and timely completion of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of projects within assigned project portfolio to include overall project plan, schedule, project health, risks, issues, sponsor engagement, and status reporting 
  • Work cross-functionally with project sponsors, stakeholders, and functional teams to deliver projects spanning teams across iCIMS from initiation to close
  • Facilitate the documentation of current and future state processes while working with the Business Optimization Manager to administer and drive adoption of the Business Process Tool
  • Work with the business to create functional requirements as needed for system changes 
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers for all projects: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan 
  • Participate in the maturity of the enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) through creation of templates, engagement in Community of Practice and sharing of best practices
  • Complete and maintain required project documentation to include but not limited to: project charters, project plans, risk and issues logs and communication plans as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing key project management methodology and tools to drive projects to outlined scope, budget, and timeline required
  • Working knowledge of business process including process map and procedure documentation
  • Problem solving, analysis, and root cause identification skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment, and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills preferred 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth 

Preferred

  • Experience driving a combination of business and systems projects highly preferred
  • Experience working with Project Management software (MS Project, Smartsheet or others) preferred
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Information Management or related field or equivalent experience.  
  • Training in Project Management or Business Processes, preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated total compensation for this role is: $57,800 - $77,000
Your actual compensation will be based upon your experience. iCIMS offers the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), an open vacation policy, sick days, short-term disability, long-term disability, maternity/bonding and parental leave, tuition reimbursement, flexible savings accounts, paid holidays, life and AD&D insurance.
