The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Electronics Engineer (GS-0855-07T12) to work at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the 896 Test Support Squadron at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This federal job offers a rewarding and exciting career with benefits.

In this position, you will serve as an F-15 Systems Engineer for airborne instrumentation to generate decision quality data in support of Test and Evaluation with responsibilities including: developing and implementing new instrumentation systems to meet customer requirements, leading teams of engineers and technicians to bring your designs to fruition on the aircraft, writing technical documents to support your systems, assessing hazards and risks of your systems, and hands-on troubleshooting of existing instrumentation systems.

This position has a typical 2021 salary range of $48,978 - $77,488 (includes locality).

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Knowledge of electronics engineering principles, concepts, and theories along with familiarity with other engineering disciplines.
- Ability to analyze and apply electronics engineering rules and procedures in a variety of situations.
- Knowledge of computer operations and standard software applications.
