Technology Project Manager Intern (Summer 2022)

Job Overview

As an Technology Project Manager Intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to be a part of a project team to implement system changes that have significant impacts at iCIMS!  As part of the Technical Program Management team within the Corporate Technology and Security you’ll get hands on experience in planning, coordinating, implementing, and closing out an engagement that involves working with various lines of businesses, one or more vendors and both technical and business team members.  Your day to day will include leveraging your technical and communications skills to understand the business processes and systems to implement new products and tools, system upgrades, and/or data migrations. You will also participate in overall IT governance management to assist in the tracking and management of corporate software usage. This is an exciting opportunity to learn all the aspects of a Technical Systems Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Manager, various Business and Technology partners across the company, and the Vendor to support the coordination and facilitation of iCIMS corporate systems implementation. 
  • Works closely with Manager and Finance team to setup and track systems usage.
  • Engage in the planning and communications of status on the component being implemented. 
  • Assist in identifying & tracking risks, assessing impact, and tracking the execution of implementation plans. 
  • Present final project to the CTS team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.3 GPA. 
  • An undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 
  • Prior experience with cloud-based security tools, technologies, and controls a plus (e.g., Amazon AWS, Azure). 
  • An understanding of networks, operating systems, cloud operations and associated technologies and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively 
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment. 
  • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Demonstrated interest in Project Management. 
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree during the time of the internship (Summer 2022).

Compensation and Benefits

The target total compensation for this role is: $15 - $17 / hour
Your actual compensation will be based upon your experience. iCIMS offers the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), an open vacation policy, sick days, short-term disability, long-term disability, maternity/bonding and parental leave, tuition reimbursement, flexible savings accounts, paid holidays, life and AD&D insurance.
