Design Automation Summer Intern

Job Description

 
The Design Automation Intern will join Skyworks Design Enablement team to improve and automate the Skyworks design environment. Our team maintains Skyworks design flows, EDA software, and internal utilities to support IC design. We are looking for a student who is able to join us from June to August 2022. 
 
Job Responsibilities:

•   Create and improve utilities and scripts to support existing circuit design flows
•   Apply machine learning algorithm to improve circuit simulation efficiency 
•   Develop websites for internal engineers to automate project management 

Job Requirements:

•   Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
•   Experience with Linux command line and file management
•   Experience with programming languages such as shell, perl, python, or php
•   Experience with circuit design tools like Cadence Virtuoso is a plus
•   Experience with version control tool like git is a plus
•   Understanding of relational database like mySQL is a plus
•   Good interpersonal communication and problems solving skills
•   Able to work both independently and as a team member
