Alumni-in-Residence: Sign Up for Office Hours with Khalil Flemming '16, Artist Manager & Entertainment Professional

Do you wonder how your interdisciplinary education, adaptability skills, and passion for the arts can shape your career? This Q+A conversation is open to anyone interested in the entertainment industry.

Designed for musical performers and those interested in artist development as a manager/talent agent/music professional, this session will explore how 15 minutes a day can offer meaningful progress toward building your creative vision. Learn more about what you can be doing now to launch a career in the music industry. Lunch will be provided. Space for this session is limited. Submit your request to participate by April 1!

The Loeb Center's Alumni-in-Residence program is excited to offer 20-minute, 1-on-1, informational office hour appointments with music industry professional Khalil Flemming '16.

Whether you want to identify essential business skills for the entertainment industry, explore the professional value of passion projects, or learn more about how to network in the performing arts—you’ll find Khalil to be a kind and insightful alum to meet. These appointments provide a great opportunity for resume reviews, in-depth questions about building on your own experiences, and learning more about the entertainment and music industries
 
Khalil Flemming '16 is a music industry professional living in Brooklyn, NY. His formal experience is in touring and brand partnerships, having spent the last 5 years at United Talent Agency, and film/tv production before that.

Khalil has also worked to build a freelance career managing artists, writing and producing records, and consulting with small brands. He is currently developing musicians with his new creative agency, booking shows for 2022, and seeking a new full-time job.

Outside of work, Khalil is a big fan of sports (NFL/NBA/F1), reading about culture and fashion, longboarding, and playing/watching video games. Lately he has been getting back out to concerts, learning more about web3, and working on an album with friends.

Alumni-in-Residence office hours appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis to current sophomores, juniors and seniors. (Alumni-in-Residence group events are open to all class years.) Submit your resume to sign up for a time slot!
