MBA intern – 2022 Starbucks Summer Internship Program – Retail Product Management

About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program:
Starbucks internships are paid, 11-week assignments (June – August 2022) at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle - our corporate headquarters. Internships at Starbucks include great Intern perks: Starbucks Rewards Gold Status, Spotify Premium, 30% discount in company-owned Starbucks stores, Headspace Plus Membership.
Note: Each student that successfully completes this internship may be considered for full-time career openings upon completion of an MBA degree program.
 
About Starbucks Retail Product Management
Millions of customers around the world leave their homes for Starbucks products – a wide-reaching assortment of beverages, food and merchandise. Whether it’s a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Impossible Breakfast Sandwich or limited-edition color changing cup, we take pride in delivering products customers love. These iconic staples and seasonal favorites build our brand and are critical to our business. The Global Product Organization is charged with orchestrating this product experience to uplift the every day for our customers. This translates to a diverse set of responsibilities including: 
  • Identifying and defining key product innovation territories
  • Validating and testing new products for national scale
  • Coordinating product improvements that enhance the brand and improve sustainability 
  • Driving product positioning, naming, pricing, and promotion decisions
  • Analyzing business performance to inform portfolio strategy 

Your work as an MBA intern will offer broad exposure and rich experience across these areas, culminating in an actionable recommendation to shape the future of products at Starbucks.

MBA Internship Program Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Active enrollment in an accredited graduate program (MBA or other business-related graduate program)
  • Expected graduation date between December 2022 and June 2023
  • Ability to work full time from June-August 2022
  • Available to relocate to Seattle, WA
  • Eligible to work in the United States
