Statistical Analyses Internship/ Statistician - 2022 Summer Associate Program

The Institute for Defense Analyses is seeking applicants with statistical expertise for summer associate positions. The IDA Summer Associate Program provides statisticians with a unique opportunity to use their quantitative and analytic skills to work on challenging real-world national security issues. Positions are available with a variety of focuses. Projects from past years have included functional data analysis, Bayesian approaches to reliability estimation, and statistics in science policy. We are seeking students with R and/or R-Studio experience and knowledge. U.S. Citizenship is required; applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to access classified information.
