Trading or energy industry experience is not required to join VECO; what matters to us is quantitative and analytic acumen, a team orientation, and integrity.
Responsibilities include:
- Using extensive market data to perform fundamental analyses of electricity market dynamics
- Participation in daily trade research, preparation, analysis, decision-making, and execution
- Coding and maintenance of analytic tools and trading platforms
- Expansion and improvement of the firm’s data acquisition infrastructure
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Quantitative major
- At least one computer programming class
