Mechanical Engineering Intern
Primarily responsible for working and learning within a job or field that is in relation to their field of study.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observing, participating in, and supervising job-related actives
- Addressing any issues that effect a deliverable, and reporting on these activities
- Serving as a liaison with other Lee Company business units
- Understanding mechanical construction means and methods
- Interacting with other professionals and management teams within the company
- Understanding complex processes and systems related to field of work.
- Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Lee Company policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Handle stress and job demands.
- Work cooperatively with others.
Education and Experience Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in a discipline relating to the internship offering
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a background and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation and housing arrangements
