Junior Investment Analyst Program

Description:
The Junior Investment Analyst Program is a 2-year rotational program, which seeks to offer recent college graduates four 6-month rotations through the specific areas or divisions of Upshot’s private equity real estate platform, such as asset management, investor relations and capital raising, acquisitions, and real estate development. During these rotations, the Analyst will have the opportunity to expand their analytical, valuation and presentation skills while working closely with real estate and finance professionals.
 
Assignments for rotations will be based upon the Analysts’ degree, prior internship experience, and the business needs of the various areas or divisions at Upshot. During each rotation, the Analyst will receive regular and formal feedback from their rotation manager.
 
There will be a variety of projects and responsibilities available to the Analyst depending on the group they are placed in at Upshot, including, but not limited to performing financial analyses, forecasting, performance tracking, reporting, researching, modeling, valuing, and tracking portfolio operations.
 
Qualifications:
Upshot seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should be or have:
 
·      An undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics with a strong GPA
·      Very strong quantitative and analytical skills
·      Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented
·      Ability to be a collaborative team player
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
·      Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
·      Possesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude, and genuine passion for excellence
·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
 
To be considered for next year’s Junior Investment Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
 
·      Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
·      Have an anticipated graduation date of:  Fall 2021 – Spring 2022
·      Turn in a PDF version of Resume which must include expected graduation month/year and GPA (including the most recent copy of your Transcript)
·      If the candidate was not a Intern at Upshot during the immediate prior summer, the candidate may be required to submit additional information and applications.
