The Community Connection and Housing Navigation Coordinators primary role is to perform the duties of a housing specialist in compliance with the Continuum of Care (CoC) Coordinated Entry System for those seeking housing/shelter assistance. This position will be the key connection and link to assist community individuals with referrals, resources, and alternative solutions for presenting problems or inquiries, specifically associated with housing, shelter, deposits, utilities and other social determinants of health (SDOH) resources. This position will work in direct conjunction with the Information Access and LINK Services Coordinator to ensure that all community needs are addressed through providing avenues to available resources.
Requirements include: Associate’s degree in human services, social services, or behavioral sciences field is required. AIRS certification is a preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills are a plus. Minimum of three (3) years to five (5) of human service experience and knowledge of human services; and computer experience in word processing and database required. Consideration will be given for any equivalent combination of experience and training.
