Summer Analyst Roles & Responsibilities
The Debt Capital Markets team…
- Is responsible for securing loans to finance real estate acquisitions (a bit like finding a mortgage for a home, but at the commercial level)
- Works with lenders to pitch the deals/negotiate terms and maintain relationships with any other external vendors
- Often collaborates with our portfolio management, due diligence, asset management, and legal teams
This program is open to undergraduate students who are intellectual, demonstrate professional drive and have a record of excellence in prior vocations. In addition to interest in financial markets and investments, strong analytical skills and poise in a fast-paced team environment, successful candidates for this role:
- A passion for contributing to and operating within a collaborative corporate culture
- Knowledge of finance and accounting; previous experience in these areas a plus but not required
- General aptitude and willingness to learn
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Novice to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Initiative and a strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Critical thinkers with the ability to research solutions and be a problem solver
Additionally:
- Are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in Finance or Economics
- Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2022 and August 2023
- Have a track record of academic excellence and participation in campus activities

Duration: 10 weeks
Compensation: Paid Internship
