Interior Design Assistant

This is a part time position that will likely become full time for the right candidate:

  • Manages requisitioning tasks for interior design team using assigned software programs
  • Supports business development activities through assistance with aids such as finish boards or PowerPoint presentations
  • Researches and aides in the selection of interior and exterior materials
  • Assists in compiling finish schedules and project drawings
  • Assists with product samples including managing packaging and shipping
  • Occasional or regular other duties may be requested, required or assigned



Qualifications, Education, & Experience


Experience Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: None
  • License Status: NCIDQ Certified or Uncertified
  • Education: High School Diploma

Software Requirements
  • Basic review capability in CAD software, or ability to learn
Interior Design-related Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to provide visual presentation of color schemes and interior design
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Some design, space planning, and finish selection background
