The Indirect Spend Analyst will support the Global Procurement team on a variety of activities including, analytical support, spend analysis, policy and compliance tracking, cost savings tracking, and regional co-ordination across all areas of spend. This position will collaborate with the Indirect procurement team and internal business partners to define and implement procurement compliance to ensure maximized value within assigned categories/projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, report on and continuously develop the Spend Cube to track Indirect Spend categories across all functional areas of the company
Develop and distribute monthly compliance reporting by branch and manage regional co-ordination and reporting for rolling out various procurement cost-savings programs
Provide data and analytical support to the department VP and Category Managers in the development of annual category management plans and savings targets
Coordinate monthly reporting for ongoing Indirect projects and FPA team related to department performance at the project level, including timelines and savings estimates and results
Perform and/or validate savings and benefits, and facilitate the project close-out and savings sign-off process with the Project Management Office, FPA and department stakeholders
Develop and maintain a Procurement scorecard against core performance metrics, including savings, cost avoidance, other benefits, spend sourced and addressed, process and policy compliance, internal customer satisfaction, and others as agreed or required
Develop and distribute monthly spend reporting that tracks indirect procurement spend by category, subcategory and top suppliers, compared to historical and planned spending, and work with Category Managers and business unit stakeholders to explain trends and anomalies
Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to compare function performance and identify opportunities for improvement and best-practice adoption
Manage and maintain the Spend Cube
Automate reporting where possible, train the team and relevant stakeholders on how to access and run reports and queries to support self-service efficiencies
Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
3-5 years of work experience with 2+ years of previous procurement-related experience preferred
Project planning experience preferred
COMPETENCIES
High degree of proficiency in Excel, MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation & reasoning)
Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
