Reports To: Executive Director and Direct Service Manager
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day programing and operations, supervision of peer specialists’ staff, ensuring training needs are met, coordinating with other community providers to ensure long-term housing objectives are met with residents. Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Cardinal Capital Management team and Milwaukee County Housing Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred and or a minimum of three years’ experience in coordinating services or working with targeted population.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for overseeing all facets of Peer Support at Supportive Apartments
  • Prepare staff evaluations
  • Ensure good communication with staff and professionalism is maintained
  • Train and supervise daily activities of Peer Specialists.
  • Create daily/monthly calendar for groups and staff schedule
  • Coordinate activities for residents
  • Work with consumers living in the apartments.
  • Work with referral agencies.
  • Maintain statistics and complete outcome tools for Housing submission.
  • Work with necessary Case Management Agency staff in support of resident
  • Work with Cardinal Capital staff to address operational and building issues.
  • Report critical incidents
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed that are determined by Housing and Our Space Executive Director.
  • Provide active listening and positive communication skills with residents
  • Use Problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution, anger management and de escalation techniques as necessary
  • Establish rapport with residents
  • Other duties as assigned
