Database Administrator- Senior *Remote*

The Database Administrator performs all related database functions across the enterprise including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. This includes providing database administration support, overseeing environment management, monitoring database health (e.g. proactive and reactive responses), resource planning, performing database upgrades and patching, providing backup/recovery, and making recommendations regarding enhancements and improvements. The Database Administrator completes assigned tasks of routine to moderate complexity related to projects and technical requests, and provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support in all areas of the departmental service portfolio.
Bachelor's degree required. Eight years’ experience accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Minimum twelve years database administration experience required
