Data Analyst Intern-Financial Health

Job Description
The Financial Health Data Analyst Intern will work with the Financial Health team in assisting with producing data and reports from the processes and systems used in the Financial Health department. The Financial Health Data Analyst Intern will conduct analysis of data, strategy, and the work processes to produce evidence based recommendations, proposals, and other documents as necessary to drive improved performance in key collections metrics.

Essential Functions
Data Extraction and Reporting
  • Extract Data From:
  • Pathways (Counseling Intake System on Salesforce platform)
  • Coconut (Lobby Tracker and Appointment Scheduler)
  • PlanU App (Data Warehouse)
  • PlanU Hub (Google Analytics)
  • Symitar (Account opening and auto transfer)
  • Everfi (Online education)
  • UFCU Data Warehouse
  • Other resources as necessary
  • Produce reports using extracted data as defined by Financial Health
 
Statistical Analysis
  • Conducts interpretive analysis to identify:
  • Financial Health Score Movement
  • Savings and auto transfer means, averages and trends
  • Debt Movement
  • PlanU app use, activity and directional trends and highlights
  • Pathways counseling productivity and impact reports
  • PlanU hub traffic, conversion rates to consultation and on-line education
  • Staffing Capacity
  • Scheduling
  • Process engineering
  • Process Quality Controls

Experience
Minimum Qualification
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student with one of our 6 partnered accredited institution/ university
  • Minimum of 60 completed academic hours, with a focus on Mathematics, Statistics, Analysis, or Business Management
  • Minimum of two college course in Statistics from an accredited college or university
  • Data analytics experience (including school and professional assignments)
 
Preferred Qualification
  • Minimum of two years of work experience
