Wealth Management Intern

Job Description
The UFCU Wealth Management Intern will work with our Wealth Management team in assisting with a variety of projects and initiatives focused on client experience, marketing, process enhancements and project management.

Essential Functions
Client Experience
  • Assist with various client experience activities such as outreach, job shadowing with a Financial Advisor, discovery our process and tools to help our clients with their planning.
 
Marketing
  • Assist WM Manager with various marketing initiatives such as campaigns, webinars/seminars and other marketing activities.
 
Branch Engagement
  • Assist Financial Advisors with Branch Team trainings to focus on educating the team about opportunities for members that need our help at strengthening their financial health.

Experience
Minimum Qualification
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student with one of our 6 partnered accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 30 completed academic hours
  • Project management experience
  • Data analytics experience (including school and professional assignments)
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Job may require travel to various locations throughout the Austin metro area.
  • Must be bondable
 
Preferred Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on Business, Finance or Investment Management/Wealth Management
  • Bilingual Spanish / English
  • Experience working in a professional office environment
