Entry Level Cloud Software Engineer

What You’ll Do:
- Build and ship the next generation of highly scalable, containerized, cloud apps and services
- Bring excellent software engineering habits and produce high quality, clean code that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for CI/CD
- Collaborate with colleagues including product owners, UX designers, and other engineers to create delightful and meaningful experiences for our customers
- Demonstrate a sense of pride, ownership, and personal accountability for the end-to-end product
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university
- Proficient in software development using OOP, C#, .NET Core, NoSQL
- Strong SQL skills
- Ability to critically think through and solve problems
- Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously with appropriate mentorship, support, and guidance from your managers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and more
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded, asynchronous programming patterns and solving complex problems, strong inclination for architecting at scale
- Solid understanding of Cloud centric data approach including SQL and NoSQL databases (ex. Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB)
- Exposure to Agile software delivery; familiarity with the Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps/VSTS
