Public Health Internship

Public health internships and practicums allow you to apply theories and skills they learn in class to a professional setting, such as data analysis or healthcare marketing and promotion. You will increase professional self-awareness and accumulate experience and contribute to a project of public health importance.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with supporting a nonprofit, scientific or research organization
Passion for research and detail
Strong communication with demonstrated ability to translate information into meaningful content for team strategy and decision making
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work proactively
Works with strategic purpose and approach and leads with a process improvement mindset

Ideal Candidate:

Passionate about research, science and human health within the built environment.
Eager to further their knowledge and learn how to work with teams to integrate sustainable building strategies that have a positive impact.
Graduate students within public health, environmental health, biomedical sciences, toxicology and affiliated areas,
Preferred coursework in public health, environmental or biomedical Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science studies
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills
