We are looking for a results-driven B2B Marketing Specialist to join the Follett team.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the B2B Marketing Specialist will assist with marketing efforts including campaign development, marketing material production and internal and external communications (social and internal communications). The B2B Marketing Specialist is expected to develop relationships with home office and field team members as well as various subject matter experts to understand the programs and services offered by Follett Higher Education Group. The Marketing Specialist would assist in the develop and manage marketing plans for the Follett Virtual, Follett ACCESS, Follett Managed Stores and Follett on Demand product groups on time and within budget. The Marketing Specialist would also be responsible for researching marketing assets such as images, stats and quotes to use in marketing assets and on social.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of detailed marketing plans for Follett Virtual, Follett ACCESS, Follett Managed Stores and Follett on Demand including researching information, gathering content from subject matter experts, and writing rough drafts.
  • Manage in-house and outside agency creative/production efforts in development of marketing collateral.
  • Creates external social marketing communication plans and posts.
  • Manage creative approval process with subject matter experts.
  • Reviews the production of artwork and copy tied to business segment marketing campaigns before final review performed by Marketing Manager.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in strategic plan development and execution of trade shows/events.
  • Communicates current marketing strategies and procedures to home office and field team members.
  • Facilitates external and internal surveys and research channels.
  • Tracks competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
  • Be on-site or virtually on-site for major events and meetings.
  • B2B Marketing team support and other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or other related discipline required.
  • 3 -5 years Marketing Internship or previous Marketing, B2B Marketing related position or experience and moderate writing skills desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, listening, verbal).
  • Demonstrated time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.
