The graduate student curriculum development position for the Management Department in the College of Business (COB) at CSU is designed as a support and creative role for the faculty member (Macdonald) 

·   The role involves helping to develop supply chain curriculum for undergraduate classes. This includes writing tests, creating activities, and building PPT decks.

·   This role starts Jan. 1, 2022 for the duration of the Spring 2022 semester.

·   Student will work about 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to creative development of:

·   Lecture material including PPT slide engineering

·   Cases. Both incorporating pre-existing cases or cases developed with a company to allow for protagonists to guest speak/interact with class. 

·   Assignments. Worksheets, handouts, problem solving, etc. 

·   Tests. Creating a bank of test questions: MC, short answer, and essay

·   Textbook options. Investigate existing textbooks to determine material availability

·   Signature Experiences / Activities. Tours, hands-on in- or out-of-class experiences, study abroad development

·   Simulations. Locating or creating simulations focused on sustainability for learning. 

·   Workshops. Design thinking workshop focused on problem identification / blue ocean solution development

·   Strong time management and organizational skills (for activity and meeting planning).

·   Ability to engineer PPT slides.

·   Proficient with Microsoft Excel.   

·   Graduate student level required to be able to develop undergraduate-level curriculum

·   Students interested in Supply Chain Management preferred.

·   Ability to synthesize existing information and develop new resources.

·   Excellent communication skills, including writing.

·   Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work.

Paid or not? If paid, how much? Yes, $14.87/hour. All employees start at this rate.
