Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant – Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working closely with other management, the Staff Accountant will be based in Fort Lauderdale and play a vital role in our Accounting team.
·        Prepare month end close workpapers
·        Book all monthly entries
·        Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
·        Complete internal and external reports as needed
·        Maintain the organization of the paperless environment
·        Collaborate with others in the department to support overall department goals and objectives
·        Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department
·        Document workflows and understanding of processes
·        Complete other assignments and projects as directed
 
Professional Qualifications
·        At least 2 years’ experience in accounting
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
·        Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
·        Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
·        Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in and outside the organization
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·        Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
·        We are in an international business, languages other than English are a plus
