SPRING INTERN 2022 – CERES ACCELERATOR

SPRING INTERN 2022 – CERES ACCELERATOR

The Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets is transforming the practices and policies that govern capital markets to drive the large-scale behavior and systems change needed to achieve a net zero emissions economy.

Over the last three decades, Ceres and our influential networks have achieved significant progress in integrating sustainability into the capital markets. However, private and public sector progress is not happening fast enough or with the right level of ambition to tackle the climate crisis, as well as the growing threats around deforestation, water scarcity and pollution. We need swift action from capital markets to scale solutions. Ceres educates and engages regulators, financial institutions, investors and other capital market influencers to act on the climate crisis as a systemic financial risk through four key initiatives.
We are seeking two interns to help with a variety of net-zero, financial regulatory, banking and governance issues. Here are examples of our recent reports. We are seeking interns that are self starters and ready to work on research projects.

Examples of research projects for the interns include, but are not limited to:
  • The impact on mandatory climate corporate disclosure will have on the economy.
  • The ways the boards of directors can impact the environmental and social impact of their companies?
  • Specific ideas for banks, credit unions and insurance companies to reduce their climaate impact
