Internship Overview:
As an intern on our Finance Planning & Analysis team you will:
Support data analysis on company performance, reporting of financial metrics, and strategic initiatives to help drive better decision-making for the business. You’ll contribute to high visibility projects in support of various operations across the company. Also, serve as a leader in shaping the development and execution of data analytics best practices for the organization.
- Evaluate large data sets, synthesize data, develop analysis, and communicate strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain data models, reporting, data automation, key performance metrics, and dashboards to help drive key business decisions
- Conduct ongoing analysis of trends, variance analysis and performance indicators
- Develop predictive models to address sales and operational goals
- Present results of analysis to senior management across a wide range of functions
- Partner cross functionally to provide data and systems requirements needed to develop metrics
- Support implementation of systems to support and automate data
Required Skills:
- Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of an MBA or related graduate degree
- Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2022
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
- 2+ years of experience in finance or data analytics
- Demonstrated proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Tableau and Excel
- Ability to transform complex data into relevant insights and deliver presentations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Capable of contributing effectively in a team environment and partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Valued Skills:
- Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December
- 2022 through June 2023)
- Working knowledge of Alteryx, Anaplan, Snowflake, or other related software
- B2B technology or software experience in a product, marketing, finance, and/or operations

Compensation:
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Alteryx’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired: $38 per hour.
