Accounting Intern - Spring 2022

He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team and be a self-starter.
Internship positions are competitive and are paid positions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist with month end close activities
- Prepare Journal Entries
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements
- Assist with monthly analysis and reconciliations
- Assist with the development and support of audit schedules
- Support key financial projects
- Assist with documentation of key accounting policies
- Assist with the documentation of SOX controls
- Assist with the roll-out of our electronic payments and P-card setup
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proactive, hard-working, intellectually curious and results-oriented
- Must have good time management, communication skills and have the ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Passion and interest in sports
- Must be able to work 24-32 hours a week during Spring 2022
