Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist and prepare documents for ASC 740 purposes.
- Independently prepare book-tax difference supporting work for the quarterly and annual tax provision.
- Prepare quarterly and annual estimated tax provisions papers in compliance with Federal income tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare of monthly and quarterly sales tax returns from sales journals under limited supervision
- Assist with sales tax audits efforts by supporting senior Tax Accountants with the coordination of sales and use tax audits.
- Reconcile sales tax general ledger accounts
- Research federal and state tax issues.
- Develop ad-hoc reports to support business decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, Microsoft Office, Excel, VLookup.
- Knowledge of sales tax rules and regulations.
- Strong accounting foundation and understanding of US GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong research & communication skills.
