Event Marketing Intern

Thirty4thStreet Productions is seeking an Event Marketing Intern to join our team! We are event planners specializing in virtual and in-person events including weddings, parties, corporate events and more. As an intern, you will gain experience by working alongside our owners who have been planning events for over a decade.

What does the role entail?
  • Create social media posts and campaigns to increase brand awareness and following
  • Create and edit content for the website, blog, newsletter/email campaigns and various social media platforms
  • Conduct outreach for partnerships with venues, vendors and more
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Assist in event planning and execution on events as needed

What are the requirements and qualifications?
  • Ideally pursuing a BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, PR or similar relevant field
  • In-depth understanding and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube and Pinterest
  • Highly creative and a proven self-starter
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work at least 10 hours a week
  • Must have reliable internet access and live in the Northeast. This is mostly a virtual position but will require some on-site work in and around New York City
