Fall Associate- DG Asset Management
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Distributed Generation, a part of EDP Renewables North America, is looking for an Asset management Fall Associate. On site located in New York, NY.
Main accountabilities:
- Maintaining a project management information system to provide data for the planning and control of solar project development; tracking project timeframes and cost schedules;
- Determining and coordinating project activities required between contractors, equipment manufacturers and departments responsible for project completion;
- Reviewing all schedules, reports, and orders prepared by consultants, contractors’ and client agencies to ensure conformance with project completion dates;
- Checking contractors’ work performance and preparing management reports; and resolving problems that arise in meeting assigned schedules and budgets.
- Track portfolio performance and perform financial and technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios.
- Participate in a join effort with Asset Management team, performing ad-hoc analyses of the historical and forward-looking performance of the asset.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure that proper asset management processes and tasks are in place in order to improve overall facility performance and limit risk exposure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or graduate
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills with advanced Excel functionality
- Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
