Internship – Universal Creative: Graphic Design (Spring 2022)
Spring Semester: Internship dates are approximately from January 2022 – April 2022.
JOB SUMMARY: This internship will provide an opportunity to work with Graphics Manager and other teams, refining and developing signs/graphics for themed and back of house areas. Work will include show, placemaking, environmental/operational signs and graphics. This internship will provide real-world experience in supporting graphic design, fabrication methods, and use/placement of informational/storytelling graphics in a theme park setting.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review/update of all planned themed and operational graphics.
- Develop new graphics and signs.
- Assist with development of presentation decks, coordination of graphics matrices, location plan, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- EDUCATION:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Graphic Design
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role includes but is not limited to:
Required include:
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator graphic design proficiency
Preferred include:
- Dimensional design coursework/experience
- Hand-letteing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint
