Internship – Universal Creative: Graphic Design (Spring 2022)

Spring Semester: Internship dates are approximately from January 2022 – April 2022.

JOB SUMMARY: This internship will provide an opportunity to work with Graphics Manager and other teams, refining and developing signs/graphics for themed and back of house areas. Work will include show, placemaking, environmental/operational signs and graphics. This internship will provide real-world experience in supporting graphic design, fabrication methods, and use/placement of informational/storytelling graphics in a theme park setting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review/update of all planned themed and operational graphics.
  • Develop new graphics and signs.
  • Assist with development of presentation decks, coordination of graphics matrices, location plan, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • EDUCATION: 
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred. 
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Graphic Design

EXPERIENCE: 
  • Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role includes but is not limited to:
Required include:
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator graphic design proficiency
Preferred include: 
  • Dimensional design coursework/experience
  • Hand-letteing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint
