Description

The Lordstown Motors Internship Program is optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school. If you are not pursuing a degree, please see our full-time positions at lordstownmotors.com   

This internship is expected to start around January 10, 2022 and conclude on April 8, 2022.  
  • Monitor key state and federal legislation
  • Schedule and coordinate events with elected officials at the plant 
  • Write communications for State and Federal elected officials 
  • Assist with mailings and print production
  • Create event preparation materials 
  • Develop social media posts aimed at local, state and federal officials 
  • Compile contact lists and update databases
  • Search for news clippings
  • Greet special guests and key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Political Science, Business, Public Relations major
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of social media
  • Writing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
