Textile Stylist (Interior Design)
Who You Are:
Carnegie Textiles has an opening for a Textile Stylist! Our ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual, able to work on delivers in a fast-paced environment. The Textile Stylist will be working to deliver a memorable and successful client experience. Our ideal candidate is a recent-grad with a degree in textile or interior design, or an interior design/ textile industry professional!
What You'll Do:
You will be responsible for styling a personalized package of textile/wallcovering solutions for real client projects daily and become a trusted resource for design professionals and internal Carnegie employees.
The responsibilities of the position vary from coloring matching, creating visuals for clients, consistently learning the product line, building relationships with new and existing creative professionals and analyzing industry trends, amongst other various tasks.
You Will Also:
- Continually learn about the Carnegie product line and industry solutions to become a trusted resource for design professionals and internal employees.
- Deliver fast, personalized, and creative solutions to clients/reps/internal teams to impact sales and brand loyalty.
- Bring the experience of the Creative studio to clients virtually.
- Create beautiful and functional visuals for clients using photography and Photoshop.
- Build relationships with new and existing creative professionals that in turn sells solutions and creates future opportunities.
- Collect, measure and analyze client and industry trends to influence design development.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Interior Design or Textiles
- Passionate about the textile/design industry
- Has a strong eye for color and pattern
- Listens and communicates effectively
- Approachable with a positive outlook, as well as a strong team player
- Comfortable solving problems independently
- Punctual, proactive, and hardworking
- Service and solution oriented
- Precise, thorough, organized and nimble
- Comfortable working at a face pace and able to manage daily deadlines
- Proficiency with Adobe (Photoshop) as well as Microsoft Suite programs (Excel)
Work Schedule/Location: This is a full-time permanent position Monday to Friday in our New York City studio. Currently Carnegie is working on a set Hybrid schedule (3 days in-person / 2 days working remote) with the goal to eventually all return to the studio.
There are two work schedule options for this position: (1) 10am-6:30pm or (2) 12pm-8:30pm.
