Fleet Team Internship Program (Summer 2022)

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Fleet Team Interns (in-person internship) will work on a variety of projects and tasks in support of various functional departments of Fleet Team. Interns may work in one or more areas of the business in rotation, depending on the intern’s interest and business’s need:

Fleet Management Services
The Fleet Management Services team provides day-to-day client services for fleet management accounts. This includes providing proposals and quotes as requested by the client for equipment and related assets, overseeing asset maintenance programs, managing the addition and removal of client assets, preparing client-specific reports, and other functions as necessary to deliver client success.

Fleet Analytics
The Fleet Analytics team conducts analytical work in the areas of cost management, performance benchmarking, and action plan tracking for client maintenance and consulting programs. This includes analyzing data, identifying patterns and trends, providing insight and recommendations, and reporting the monthly service data to Fleet Team clients and internal stakeholders.

Operations & Finance
The Finance & Operations team performs a variety of financial analysis and reporting functions to support the operations of Fleet Team. These functions cover key areas including financial reporting, asset management, accounting inquiries, equipment financing, and property/sales tax.

Business Development
The Business Development team gives a road map of how to engage in a business relationship with Fleet Team. They engage clients with a purpose to develop positive trusting relationships, a thorough understanding of each client’s pain related to Fleet Management, and scopes of work, ultimately giving clients the hope that their current state can be made measurably better through formalizing a consultative relationship with Fleet Team.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
  • Pursuing a degree program in Business Administration or a related field.

EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in a business/customer service environment preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team to effectively prioritize demands and execute tasks.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Strongly skilled with using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and forward thinking.
