Dietitian Student Assistant (Open to Work Study and Non- Work Study Students)

PURPOSE & FUNCTIONS
The purpose of the Dietitian Student Assistant position is to provide nutrition education and outreach to UHD residents, promote awareness of available nutrition resources, and aid the two UHD Registered Dietitians in their daily operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dietitian Student Assistant will assist the Registered Dietitians in numerous tasks related to food service, education, counseling, research, and marketing. Performance expectations include, but are not limited to, clerical duties, menu and recipe management, educational tabling, food samplings, quality assurance audits of the dining operations, staff training, and
special event planning, along with researching educational information for dining specials, info-graphics, displays, and table tents.
WORK DAY AND TIMES:
Varies Monday through Friday between 8am and 9pm.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate or graduate Nutrition major, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have completed at least 12 credits of nutrition-related courses at the time of application. Relevant experience may be substituted if not a Nutrition major.
