ICG Technology x CUPID Leadership & Development Program 2021 – Tampa, Florida & Irving, Texas

In partnership with Citi’s ICG Technology organization, the Citi® University Partnerships in Innovation & Discovery (CUPID) Program is seeking high potential and experienced college graduates to join Citi for a best-in-class leadership and development program! 

Institutional Clients Group Operations & Technology 
Citi Institutional Clients Group Operations and Technology (ICG O&T) develops innovative technology solutions and is focused on providing exceptional service to our clients in full partnership with our product teams. ICG O&T features a diverse, inclusive team of professionals in approximately 90 countries around the globe. 

Information Services Group (ISG) O&T 
Information Services Group (ISG) O&T delivers mission critical services to the bank across Entities, Accounts, Settlement Instructions, Securities, Pricing, Documents, Corporate Actions, Onboarding, KYC, Client Technology and Shared Services via its state of the art *MC platform. 
ISG's platforms play a key role in the firms most important functions including Trading, Settlements, Margining, Risk Management, Finance and Compliance across Markets, Securities Services, Treasury and Treasury Solutions, Private Bank, Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Functions among others. The Information Services Group (ISG) is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across Citigroup’s Institutional Client Group (ICG).   

Program Overview 
The virtual program will run from Monday, October 18th through Friday, November 19th. This experience will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career. At Citi, we value internal mobility and career growth. 

Selected candidates will join a 5-week virtual, paid program and work on interesting projects supporting our ICG Technology’s Information Services Group in Tampa, FL or Irving, TX. Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to network with Citi colleagues, hear from senior leaders, receive mentorship and attend career preparation workshops and professional training. Projects are assigned based on participants’ skills and interests, as well as business needs. 

Program participants will be eligible to apply for and receive a full-time job offer from Citi within ICG Technology’s Information Services Group (ISG) after completion of the program. 
 
Note: Full-time roles on the ICG Technology ISG team are in Tampa, FL or Dallas/Irving, TX. After Citi deems it safe and appropriate to return to the office, all participants who accept an offer are expected to relocate (if applicable) to the location that their offer was contingent upon. No relocation assistance will be provided. 

We want to hear from you if you meet one or more of the below criteria for one or both of the below types of roles: 

Java Developer 
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience 
  • Working experience at full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project  
  • Good track record of relevant experience in design and development of Java multi-threaded applications and distributed systems. 
  • Good knowledge of JAVA (Core JAVA, Multi-threading, Spring, JPA, JDBC, RESTful Services) 
  • Exposure to (HTML5, AJAX, EXT-JS, JSON, JQuery, JavaScript) and basic troubleshooting skills 
  • Exposure to messaging services (JMS, Tibco EMS) and container like Tomcat, WebSphere application server  
  • Knowledge of databases – Oracle or equivalent with SQL, PL/SQL programming expertise 
  • Experience with Ant/Maven, Git/BitBucket, Hudson, JUnit, JMock and other similar technologies 
  • Unix/Linux scripting skills (Shell and PERL) and intermediate level experience in Applications Development role 

Business Analyst 
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience  
  • Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills 
  • Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills

In order to be eligible for this program, you must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
