Settlements Analyst
The Settlements Analyst will provide settlements support to the Asset Operations team for assets in ongoing operations and ensure accurate processing of settlements, landowner payments, and other various activities to support the operational obligations of the company.
Main accountabilities:
- Prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals estimates for Accounting and provide support for any inquiries
- Produce monthly invoices and reconcile settlement discrepancies with various ISOs and off-takers
- Generate and maintain landowner payment files in direct collaboration with multiple groups such as site staff, Legal, and Records and Information Maintenance
- Prepare various ad hoc analyses (historical and “what-if” forward-looking)
- Support the development of standard business processes and optimization of existing processes
- Support the development of tools and processes and the tracking of obligations under the major contracts of an operating wind farm (e.g., PPA, Turbine O&M, Landowner, and Tax Equity)
- Support Asset Operations staff in maintaining and strengthening relationships with landowners, off-takers, ISOs, and other stakeholders critical to the success of the company’s operations
- Collaborate with accounting regarding A/R and A/P requests associated with settlements and landowner payments
- Interface heavily with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.
- Preferred: experience with database management/analytics (SQL), macros (VBA), data reporting (SQL Reporting Services/Crystal), dashboard/BI (Tableau, Power BI)
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
