Data Analyst - Full Time

As an analyst on our team, you’ll use data to solve complex business problems, work closely with a mentor, and apply your insight in one of the following roles:


Pricing: Working with large spreadsheets, databases, and programming languages to manipulate and analyze data, you’ll make recommendations that influence our ability to find the right price and coverage for our customers.

Actuarial: Review multiple segments of the business and historical data on claims losses to estimate projections for claims payout balance sheets. Along with the opportunity to present your estimations to business leaders, we’ll provide study time and cost assistance for actuarial exams.

Data Analysis: Write queries, gather data into Excel or SAS, and manipulate data to identify trends for various business groups. Tell the story behind the data when working closely with your team to prepare it for presentation to business partners.
 
Must-have qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of three years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills:
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Prior internship experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Solid organizational, written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and data programming languages like R, Python, SQL, or SAS

Compensation:
  • Bachelor's $28.46/hourly, $59,200 annualized
  • Master's $31.25/hourly, $65,000 annualized
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
