Student Project Assistant- Collaborative for Equitable & Inclusive STEM Learning

About
We are looking to hire an undergraduate student who is interested in helping to build more equitable and inclusive learning environments for all students. You will be working with the Collaborative for Equitable & Inclusive STEM Learning team, a diverse and dedicated group of faculty, staff, and students, as well as with our Teacher Network and Community Caucus members.

Duties
Your work will include participating in creating supportive educational materials for students, teachers, families and caregivers.

Qualifications
Students must understand and be willing to learn about inclusive and equitable learning environments and intentional uses of technologies. Students must be able to navigate various software, services, and apps for the uses of educational purposes. Students have the ability to self-starts, take initiative, be highly engaged, and communicate clearly and responsibly.

Learning Outcomes
  • Community Contributor: The student will engage in responsible and ethical social and culturally relevant activities to contribute to community-engaged and school-embedded support of children, teachers, schools, and families.
  • Communicator: The student will evaluate information to engage in authentic work and to contribute to the operations and a dynamic team of an equity and inclusion grounded educational program.
  • Innovator: The student will be working through critical social issues and creating and constructing approaches to important authentic educational issues.
  • Problem Solver: The student will be using digital tools to critically analyze and represent educational issues to promote equitable and inclusive learning and teaching.
