Clean Air Coordinator Temp

Primary Purpose of the Position: Support NPCA’s advocacy and coordination efforts across the Southeast states on Regional Haze.

·      35% - Provide support for the building and implementation of state campaigns in North Carolina, Florida, Kentucky and Georgia to advocate for strong Regional Haze plans;

·      25% - Maximize opportunities to deliver clean air to national parks and wilderness areas, mitigate climate change, and address environmental justice/affected community concerns in efforts in these states through the regional haze plans;

·      10% - Develop campaign tools, materials, letters, action alerts, etc.;

·      30% Conduct outreach and engagement efforts and build relationships among agency staff, key stakeholders, allies and affected communities to leverage the role of national parks in attaining equitable solutions for clean air and a healthy climate.

 

 

Location: Southeast Region

Salary: Salary is based on location and experience. $18-$20/hour
