Marketing Copywriter

We’re looking for a Marketing Copywriter to join our content team. In this role, you will join a creative team that supports the digital and print marketing efforts of Marketopia and our IT channel clients (managed service providers, value-added resellers, cloud service providers, vendors, and partner companies in the high-tech B2B space).

Our ideal candidate is an experienced content developer with demonstrable B2B marketing writing skills. As a copywriter, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to engage all marketing content initiatives ensuring customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience.
 

Requirements

  • 1-4 years experience as a B2B marketing copywriter and editor
  • A firm ability to craft compelling content quickly and in a variety of styles/tones 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex ideas and translate them into relatable language 
  • The continual generation of content ideas/strategies that contribute towards the growth of Marketopia and its clients
  • Flexible, but able to maintain consistent copy style (70% AP Style/30% in-house style) 
  • Comfort with multiple, shifting priorities and short deadlines
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to work closely and easily with a diverse team
  • Professional communication skills for email, phone, and in-person meetings – both internal and with external clients
  • A portfolio including examples across platforms and mediums

  • Experience writing for hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud, database, or IT solutions


Responsibilities

  • Maintain expertise in proper grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling
  • Create, edit, proof content targeted at managed service providers, value-added resellers, cloud service providers, vendors, and partner companies in the high-tech B2B space
  • Advance Marketopia’s business internally and externally, acting as a quality-control specialist for all created content
  • Maintain a positive, team-first attitude that drives results for clients
  • Work collaboratively with digital, design, and sales teams to ensure client success
