Digital Marketing Internship, Small Business Unit
PLEASE NOTE: we offer one paid position for a highly qualified candidate and 3 unpaid positions as well for more beginner designers. Please be prepared to receive either option.
Do you have a passion for telling stories to promote and build brand relationships?
We are looking for 3 students interested in learning more about digital marketing services including content creation, SEO, and social media. You will work with our Small Business Unit marketing team to learn about the unique marketing needs of many startups, local businesses, and/or retail businesses. You will have a unique and customized experience for hands-on learning culminating in a portfolio-worthy marketing strategy for a brand of your choice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete weekly assignments (10-15 total hours per week)
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Learn cutting edge web design technology and marketing best practices
- Assist with other internal tasks + assignments as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Studies in Marketing, Design, UX/UI, Communication, Writing or other related area of study
- Strong passion for marketing, social media, and brand development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms is recommended (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Google My Business, TikTok)
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and principles is a plus
- Minimum of 10 hours/week with a maximum of 15 hours/week
SALARY + CREDIT
- We have 1 PAID Internship available for the fall, earning $15/hour
