Architect Position

A.   Architect Position
We are seeking a motivated Architecture graduate to work collaboratively in a team environment, performing design and technical production of documents through all phases of architecture.

B.   Responsibilities
  1. Utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), prepare and modify architectural and/or documents at the direction of the project designer or project manager professionals, ensuring alignment with design intent and firm standards.
  2. Develops solutions to technical and design problems.
  3. Integrates Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
  4. Prepares 2D and 3D design materials for client/project team review.
  5. Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with material selection and system research.
  6. May assist the team in the construction administration phase.
  7. Fosters a commitment to design excellence and client service.
 
C. Required Skills
  1. Basic hand drawing.
  2. Proficiency in Design, Problem Solving, Sustainable Design, and emerging computer technologies.
  3. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  5. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch Up graphic software preferred.
  6. Basic knowledge of architectural building systems.
  7. Good verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency)
  8. Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
 
D.   Required Experience
  1. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  2. Minimum (3) years experience in an Architectural office.
 
E.   Salary
Competitive and negotiable based on credentials, experience, and abilities.
$20 - $30 / Hr.
