Social Media Intern (paid, on site, temporary position!!)
As the Social Media Intern, you will work alongside HR/Recruitment, Communications, and Program Marketing to develop effective strategies to enhance Latham Centers’ brand awareness through various social media platforms. The social media intern will assist in content creation, ensuring consistent and uplifting messaging about our programs and events, and aid in achieving the agency’s marketing/communication goals. The intern will work with our residents and staff during activities in order to feature shareable moments and create new and innovative content (photos, videos, and written posts) for multiple platforms.
Schedule flexible with needs of applicant and programming events, 20 hours per week. There are two positions available - we will entertain the option of one opening at 40 hours/ week (temporary position).
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with children/individuals working on life-skills development in our therapeutic residential program. This is a non-benefited position.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, professional appearance and demeanor, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are all required for this position.
