Who We Are
BURGER KING®, TIM HORTONS®, and POPEYES® are truly iconic brands. Restaurant Brands International was formed in 2014 in connection with the combination of Burger King Corporation and Tim Hortons Inc. Our shared determination to achieve ever-greater things is what drives us. We have big plans for the future and for the people who want to make that future happen.
Be bold. Think big.
Our 10-week internships for undergraduates give top-performing individuals an early taste of real business challenges. During your summer with us, you’ll get to own at least one key project that’s been selected by our senior leaders. Past projects have included boosting our brand’s social media presence or improving the onboarding experience for new employees – projects which offer the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business. This is definitely not a coffee-getting, copy-making kind of internship – you’ll be using your talents to the fullest. Do well, and we’ll invite you to join our Leadership Development Program after you graduate.

It all begins with a week of orientation activities at our corporate office. We’ll give you an in-depth snapshot of our business and culture by exposing you to Brand and Functional Overviews and exciting trainings such as problem-solving methodology which will set you up for success during your project-based internship. You’ll also get hands-on experience to operations by spending a day working in one our restaurants, pending safe return to work guidelines as per outlined in each region.
Project work
After onboarding and training, you’ll jump right into your project. The challenging project assigned to you will enable you to make a big impact on our organization – every project we assign to our interns receives sign off by our CEO and Leadership team to ensure the work supports a key initiative of our organization. Projects assigned to interns support work in marketing, digital, communications, retail, supply chain, operations, development, finance, global business services and our consumer tech group to name a few.
Ongoing support
