About The Roof
New Hope’s shelter program, The Roof, provides emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness. The Roof can shelter 7 families at a time across our 2 shelter houses. During the day residents attend case management meetings and work with shelter staff toward their goals. In addition, volunteers often meet residents in the office or in the shelter houses to work on skills like budgeting and nutritious cooking.
